How Do I Install An Extension

To use a WP Hotelier extension you need to install and activate it. Premium extensions are normal WordPress plugins, so there are two methods available: via the WordPress dashboard or via FTP. If you are installing a theme, please read this article.

Installing via WordPress

1. Go to: WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New to upload.
2. Select Upload Plugin at the top.
3. Choose File and select the .zip file on your computer (the extension you need to install) .
4. Install Now.
5. Activate the plugin.

Installing via FTP

In order to use FTP you'll need a client program for your computer.  WinSCP, FileZilla and Cyberduck are some of the best programs available for free.

Before transferring the plugin you'll need to unzip the file. Next connect to your server with your FTP program and upload the extracted folder in  /wp-content/plugins/.

Then go to the Plugins page in your WordPress site and you should see the extension in the plugin list. Click the Activate button and you'll be ready to use the plugin.

Activate Your License

Once you've installed and activated your extension go to  Hotelier > Settings > License and activate your license key in order to get automatic update notifications.
