How Do I Install A Theme

To use a WP Hotelier theme you need to install and activate it. Premium themes are normal WordPress themes, so there are two methods available: via the WordPress dashboard or via FTP. If you are installing an extension, please read this article.

Installing via WordPress

1. Go to: WordPress Appearance > Themes > Add New to upload.
2. Select Upload Theme at the top.
3. Choose File and select the .zip file on your computer (the theme you need to install in zip format) .
4. Install Now.
5. Activate the theme.

Installing via FTP

In order to use FTP you'll need a client program for your computer.   WinSCP, FileZilla and Cyberduck are some of the best programs available for free.

Before transferring the theme you'll need to unzip the file. Next connect to your server with your FTP program and upload the extracted folder in   /wp-content/themes/.

Then go to the Themes page (Appearance > Themes ) in your WordPress site and you should see the theme in the list. Click the Activate button and you'll be ready to use the theme.

Activate Your License

Once you've installed and activated your theme go to theme's license activation page and activate your license in order to get automatic update notifications.
